'Sustaining communities and Conscious conservation'.
ABOUT THE TRUST
Our slogan is 'Sustaining communities and Conscious conservation'. The impact of creating and sustaining appreciation for our natural surroundings cannot be under estimated as the planet continues to be covered in modern habitation and all that comes with it. By preserving nature and wildlife with the creation of employment and symbiotic relationships through initiatives, the Trust hopes to leave a living legacy to future generations.

Kenya Wildlife Services

Since 2006 Amarula has partnered with the Kenyan Wildlife Service (KWS). The KWS headquarters serve as a gateway to Nairobi National Park, one of Kenya's biggest game reserves and the only park in the world located within a capital city. The park was the first to be established in East Africa almost 61 years ago. |

The heart of the Marula growing region is Phalaborwa, which lies at the extreme north eastern reaches of South Africa in the Limpopo province. The livelihood of local residents is closely tied to the Marula tree and it is estimated that close to 60,000 people are supported through the harvesting of the Marula fruit alone for Amarula Cream. |

While most of the work of the Trust in promoting job creation and encouraging conservation, takes place in South Africa, we are now also active on the tiny but beautiful Rodrigues Island that forms part of the Republic of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. |
The Amarula Scholarship Programme
